I love to find new and upcoming websites and www.POSTaNEED.com is one that I have to blog about.
The best part of this website is that it is FREE !!! You guys know how much I like free website…
So here is the deal, this is a 3 part webiste:
1. Say you have an odd job, day labor type work or temp work for yourself or for your business, all you do is POSTaNEED on the website, which take about 2 minutes, and you wait for people to respond. A plus is also that the people that respond to your post can make a profile of themselves right there on POSTaNEED so I can see who they are before I hire them. I love to buy plants from The Home Depot but when I need someone to plant them, I don’t pick up one of those workers standing out side the store , I postaneed on the website that I need someone to plant my plants for $10 per hour. The cool thing is that I usually get some people from the local college that are usually doing odd jobs to pay for these crazy high gas prices. I have to say they are really nice, hard working, kids and I’m happy they can help me and I can help them.
2. Now this refers to the college students, temp workers, unemployed and people that just want to earn some extra money. These people can go to the website and pick up as much odd jobs and temp work as they want. I even had a lady help me with some computer work, that I had to get done but I was way to busy to do it, she had a full time job, but wanted a little extra income. She saw my post and made a profile that she e-mailed to me with her skills. Just like that I got all my work done, that I would have had to do on the weekend, instead of hanging out with my kids.
3. This part is for my husband and his business… After my husband noticed me getting all my little jobs done by finding workers on POSTaNEED he figured he could do the same thing with his business. He owns some company where he gets orders, pulls orders, and delivers them. What he does is on Monday he takes orders and Monday after work he figures out what workers he will need for Tuesday and he posts his needs for what ever amount of order pickers he will need or how ever many delivery divers he will need. I honestly didn’t realize at first how much money he was saving by hiring only the workers he needed. I think a lot of businesses are going to start noticing the benefits of hiring workers on an as needed basis.
